Leyland Leisure:

Here are some of the ways in which the townspeople like to take their leisure

Walking/Cycling
There are many paths like this one throughout the Town. This one is by the River Lostock at Earnshaw Bridge. I estimate that there must be about ten miles of footpaths, tracks, bridle ways and single lane roads around the town suitable for walking, cycling or horse riding.
Tennis Coaching
One of many sports that take place at the Fox Lane Sports and Social Club. Organised coaching takes place regularly. Contact the club for further details. Sports include Cricket, Tennis, Crown Green Bowling, Football and Watching Sky TV.
Cricket
The cricket seems to be off at the moment. There is still time to enjoy an outdoor drink at this beautiful tranquil setting. Luckily there are plenty of parasols to protect us from the hot summer sun. This picture is just outside the Fox Lane Social Club with the Cricket Pavilion in the background.
Light Refreshment
Another beautiful summer's day in Leyland as some of the townspeople seek refuge from the heat with a nice cool drink. This picture was taken outside the Black Bull on the corner of Dunkirk Lane and School Lane in the Moss Side area of Leyland
